A Latin version of the 10th / 11th century Georgian version of the Canon of the Mass [among other things]; such as it was adapted for Georgian usage:
Liturgy of the Holy and All-Praised Apostle Peter
Deacon: Command, Master, to bless!
Priest: Blessed be the Kingdom…
And they sing the Antiphon of the Sunday, Feast, or Saint, all the way to “Glory be…”, the Priest completing the Entrance with the Gospel, and after the Marian Antiphon he says thrice: Kyrie eleison; to which the people respond also thrice saying: “Kyrie eleison!” The Priest says thrice: “Christe miserere nobis.” The People respond also thrice and say: “Miserere.”
The Priest blesses the people in the form of the Cross thrice and says: “The Lord be with you,” and the people [reply]: “And with thy spirit.” The Priest sings: “Glory be to God in the Highest.” And the people respond: “And on earth peace…” all the way to the words: “in the Glory of God the Father. Amen.”
Then the Priest turns himself to the people blessing them in the form of the Cross and says: “The Lord be with you.” The People [respond]: “And with they spirit.” The Priest: “Let us pray.” And in a loud voice he read this oration: “Do Thou stretch forth, O Lord, the Right Hand of Celestial Help to the faithful in Thee, that they may worthily receive what they need, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, with Whom Thou Livest and Reignest, O Lord, Our God, in the Unity of the Holy Ghost, unto the ages of ages.
People: Amen.
Then the Prokeimenon, the Litany [Ektenia]: “Again and againt….” and “Alleluia”. Afterwards reading the Gospel he says: “The Lord be with you.” The people [respond]: “And with they spirit.” Reading the Gospel: “From N. N. The Holy Gospel reading.” The people: “Glory be to Thee, O Lord!” After the Gospel the people say: “Glory be to Thee, O Lord.”
[The Priest] says: Let us give thanks to the Lord!”
The Priest: The Lord be with you.
People: And with thy spirit.
Priest: Let us pray.
The Cantors sing the Canticle of the Holy Things.
The Priest (says) the Oration: We pray Thee, Almighty Lord, that Thou wouldest not take Thy Grace away from us, for in the Confession of the Holy Trinity we look to be saved.
In a loud voice: Through all the ages of ages.
People: Amen.
Priest: The Lord be with you.
People: And with they spirit.
Priest: I believe in One God…
People: The Father Almighty …. (all the way to the end)
The Priest raises (his hands) to heaven.
The Deacon: Let us stand aright, let us stand with fear!
People: A Mercy of Peace!
Priest: The Grace of our Lord…(all the way to the end)
People: And with they spirit.
Priest: Lift up your hearts!
People: We do to the Lord!
Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord!
People: It is meet and right so to do!
Priest exclaims in a loud voice: Truly meet and right it is that we give thanks to Thee, O Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God, through Christ Jesus Our Lord, through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Domnions adore, Powers tremble, the Heavens and the Heavenly Virtues and the Blessed Seraphim join celebrating in exultation, with whom we pray that Thou command our voices to be admitted, we humbly beseech:
People: Holy, Holy…
[The Priest: Take, eat ye…” the People: “Amen.” The Priest blesses the sacrifice in the form of the Cross and says: “Drink from this all…” People: “Amen.”]
The Priest (says) the Oration:
[Canon of the Mass]
Thee, therefore, Merciful and Philanthropic Father through Jesus Christ, Thy Son and Our Lord, we humbly beg and beseech, that Thou accept and bless these gifts and do Thou send from above Thine Holy Spirit upon the set forth oblations and this sacrifice, that is offered to Thee in the first place for Thine Holy Catholic Church, which do Thou deign to pacify, guard, unite, and rule in the whole world, together with Thy servant our Pope and our Bishop and Antistite.
Be mindful, O Lord, of Thy servants and handmaidens, and all standing about to Thee and all the Orthodox. Be mindful, O Lord, both of me, Thine unworthy servant, have mercy on me and wash me from all mine iniquities, and all here present, whose faith is approve and whose devotion is known unto Thee; in whose behalf we offer unto Thee, or who are engaged in offering unto Thee, this sacrifice of praise (at this time the priest holds his hands stretched over the holy bread) which we offer to Thee, the Eternal God, Living and True, for themselves and all pertaining to them, for the redemption of their souls, for the hope of their salvation and life.
We commune and honour the memory in the first place of the Glorious Ever-Virgin Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Blessed Apostles and Martyrs: Peter, Paul, Andrew, James, John, Thomas, Jame, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Simon, Thaddeus, Linus, Cletus, Clement, Xystus, Cornelius, Cyprian, Laurence, Chrysogonus, Martin, Jerome, Ambrose, Augustine, Gregory, Isidore, Benedict and of all Thy Saints. Do Thou establish our participation with them, in the first place we pray Thee, do Thou teach us Thy Commandment and do Thou direct us through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
This oblation, therefore, (the Priest again extends his hands), we beg Thee, O Lord, of our service and that of all Thy people, that thou wouldest be pleased to accept, and to dispose our days in peace, delivering us from eternal damnation, and commanding us to be numbered amongst the flock of Thine elect, through Christ Our Lord.
This oblation, therefore (again extending the hands) do Thou, O Lord, deign to blessed, approve, ratify, make reasonable, that it may become the Body and Blood of Thy Son and Our God Jesus Christ.
In as much on the day before which He suffered (at this time the Priest elevates a little the holy bread and says): He took bread in His Holy and Venerable Hands and lifting up eyes unto Heaven, – to Thee His God and Father Almighty, giving thanks to Thee, He blessed, broke, gave to His Holy Disciples, and said: “Take ye, eat ye. This is My Body.” Likewise after supper (the priest elevates the Chalice and says:) taking the Chalice in His Holy and Venerable Hands, giving thanks to Thee, He blessed, and gave to His Disciples and said: “Take ye and drink ye from this all: For This is New and Eternal Chalice of My Blood and Testament in the Mystery of Faith, which for you and for many shall be shed for the remission of sins. As often as ye shall do this, do this in commemoration of Me.”
Therefore, calling to mind (the priest inclines himself before the Holy Altar), O Lord, we Thy servants, and holy people of Christ, Thy Son, and Our Lord and God, of the Blessed Passion, Descent into Hell, Resurrection from the dead, and Glorious Ascension unto the Heavens, and Enthronement at the Right Hand of Thine we offer to Thee, we offer to Thy excellent Majesty from Thy gifts and bounties a pure offering, an holy offering, an immaculate offering, the holy bread of life eternal and the chalice of life eternal.
Upon which do Thou vouchsafe to look with a favourable and gracious countenance, and accept them as Thou didst accept the gifts of Thine righteous servant Abel, the sacrifice of our Patriarch Abraham, and that which Thy chief priest Melchisedech offered to Thee, a holy sacrifice, immaculate and acceptable.
(The Priest inclines himself before the Holy Altar, extending hands against cover [coopertoria] of the Altar, he raises himself a little a three intervals, then he places his hands extended upon the horn of the Altar, he kisses the Altar and says the following prayer):
We humbly beseech, O Almighty God, command these to be carried by the hands of Thine Angels unto Thy Sublime Altar in the Sight of Thy Divinity, that as many of us as shall by partaking at this Altar receive the Most Sacred Body and Blood of Thy Son, may be filled with all filial benediction and grace.
We pray Thee, O Lord, for those who have gone before us with the sign of faith, grand to them rest in a place of refreshment, in a place of light and peace, pardon and forgive them in Christ Jesus Our Lord.
To us, also, Thy sinful servants, who hope in the multitude of Thy mercies, vouchsafe to grant some part and fellowship with Thine holy Apostles and Martyrs, with John, Stephen, Matthias, Barnabas, Ignatius, Alexander, Marcellinus, Peter, Felicitas, Perpetua, Agatha, Lucy, Cecelia, Anastasia, Sophia, and with all Thy Saints: that Thou wouldst make our portion not according to our merits but according to Thy Mercy, we pray Thee through Christ Jesus Our Lord, through Whom Thou dost favourable regard us and do Thou grant to sanctify, vivify, bless, and bestow to us. With Him and with the Holy Ghost be to Thee, God and Father Almighty, all honour and glory.
People: Amen.
Priest (in a loud voice): Let us pray! Admonished by Saving Precepts and following the Divine Institution we make bold to say:
People: Our Father….
Priest: For Thine is the Kingdom…
People: Amen.
Priest: The Peace of the Lord be always with you all.
People: And with thy spirit.
Deacon: Bow down your heads to the Lord!
People: To Thee, O Lord, we bow.
Priest says this prayer: Deliver us, O Lord, from all evil past, present and future, at the intercession of the All-Blessed and Glorious Ever-Virgin and Birthgiver of God Mary, of the Glorious Archangel Michael and of the Holy Apostles Peter, Paul, Andrew, and Blessed Benedict with all the Saints. Grant to us protection and peace in all days, that under Thy protecting wings, from all disturbance secure, we may turn unto Christ Jesus Our Lord, with Whom Thou livest and reignest, Our God, in the Unity of the Holy Ghost.
(The Priest fractions the Holy Bread into Three Parts, taking one Part, and holding it over the Chalice, he exclaims): Through all the ages of ages.
People: Amen.
The Priest raises the Holy Bread.
Deacon: Let us be attentive!
Priest: Holy Things for the Holy!
People: Only is Holy…
Priest: The Peace of the Lord be ever with you all!
People: And with thy spirit.
The people say thrice while he communicates:
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, grant us peace.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, grant us peace.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.
(After the Communion of all, the Priest says:) The Lord be with you.
People: And with thy spirit.
Then the Priest returns.
The Deacon exclaims: Let us pray.
The Priest reads the prayer prayer “Missae” of the people: O Blessed God, Who hast deigned to make us partake in the Most Pure Body and Precious Blood of His; therefore the Lord bless and preserve us now and ever.
People: Amen.
Priest: The Lord be with you.
People: And with thy spirit.
Priest: Let us bless the Lord.
People: Glory be to Thee, O Lord.
Then he says thrice: Blessed be the name of the Lord….
And they add: I will bless the Lord at all times (Ps. 33)
Priest: The Blessing of the Lord be ever with you all, now…
Priest: O Master, Lord Jesus Christ, Our Saviour, Thou Who dost deign make us partakers of Thy Glory in the reception of Thine Holy and Life-giving Sacraments, in which also Thou dost grant to us the perfection of the image of Thy Death and Resurrection, do Thou preserve us in Thy Sanctity, that remembered of Thy Grace we may ever live through Thee, Thou Who for us didst die and resurrected…
