Sometimes, the rhymed Sequence , "Laetabundus", is attributed to the 12th century writer, Bernard of Clairvaux. However, some admit openly that such an ascription can no longer be maintained. Indeed, in the 11th century Sacramentary Cod. Sang. 338, parts of which were composed in the 9th century, with the last finished around 1050, we find this Sequence. Therefore, Bernard was certainly not the author of this Sequence.
